Hell's Kitchen star Marco Pierre White back with wife

1 October 2007 - Marco Pierre White has reportedly reunited with his estranged wife Mati and has called off his divorce.

According to the Daily Mail, the TV chef and his wife shared a romantic dinner at his new restaurant recently.

An insider told the publication that Marco and Mati are "thrilled" that the relationship can be rekindled.

"Things are very feisty between them but they have put their differences aside and are trying very hard to make their relationship work once more," the source said.

"Marco is a very dedicated father to their three children, Luciano and Marco junior and daughter Mirabelle, and wants desperately for them to be one big happy family."

The 15-year marriage has been full of ups and downs, including an incident in January in which Mati publicly upturned a table and threw a glass of wine at her husband in his restaurant.

In another bust-up last summer, Mati burst into White's St James restaurant and fired a waitress whom she claimed had slept with her husband. She filed for divorce at the beginning of this year.

Meanwhile, it was recently announced that 45-year-old Marco will be the new face of Unilever's Knorr stock cubes.
