Strictly Come Dancing - Bruce Forsyth gets strict with viewers

29 October 2007 - Bruce Forsyth scolded viewers after they voted Gabby Logan off 'Strictly Come Dancing' last night (28.10.07).

The veteran TV presenter was left fuming after stunning Gabby lost the viewers' vote in the dancing reality show - despite receiving one of the highest results of the evening.

Bruce, 79, fumed: "Next week, please try and remember this is a dance contest."

The comment was edited out by BBC bosses from the broadcast show.

After getting a relatively high score of 30 out of 40 for her Samba, Gabby came bottom of the viewers' vote, placing her in the 'dance-off' against Rod Stewart's wife Penny Lancaster, forcing judges to choose between them.

Judge Bruno Tonioli was less than impressed with the decision he had to make, saying: "This whole thing has been absolutely ridiculous - a complete fiasco."

Viewers chose to keep in GMTV's Kate Garraway and Gabby's husband Kenny, despite them being hopeless on the dance floor. Read the full story about Gabby's ejection >

Meanwhile, model and actress Kelly Brook has come clean about her fiancé, Billy Zane's, feelings for her dance partner, Brendan Cole.

She told chat-show host Jonathan Ross on Friday night (26.10.07): "Billy hates Brendan. I think he's finding it a little difficult with all the attention Brendan's been giving me. I mean, it's fine really - they get on fine!"

Penny Lancaster also revealed she made a special request not to be given 'ladies man' Brendan as her partner, laughing: "I requested not to have him because he has such a reputation!"
