Adele could clean up after leaving the kitchen

18 September 2007 - Adele Silva could soon be earning a fortune, it has been suggested, following her popular turn on the cooking reality show Hell's Kitchen.

The runner-up has been inundated with offers to take part in everything from cookbooks and food programmes to modelling and television ads. And Debenhams reportedly wants to renew its lingerie contract with the star.

A source told the Daily Star: "Adele is in huge demand and thanks to Hell's Kitchen, the world really is her oyster.

"Several companies have come up with ideas for eateries using Adele's name. It's a chance she never thought she'd have."

Additionally, it has been reported that the Emmerdale actress could perform in the West End, much like Brookside's Jennifer Ellison, who had a turn playing Roxie Hart in Chicago.

Hell's Kitchen chef Marco Pierre White praised Adele for listening to his advice and lauded her organisational skills, saying: "I think she has what it takes to run her own kitchen."

Meanwhile, an Emmerdale spokesperson has promised that Adele will return to her role as Kelly Windsor on the soap within 12 months.

Recently, on Emmerdale, Carrie (Linda Lusardi) admitted that she is the mother of Lexi (Sally Oliver).
