Food critic compares Marco Pierre White to Gordon Ramsay

20 September 2007 - Marco Pierre White has been compared to fellow chef Gordon Ramsay by a legendary food critic.

Giles Coren from The Times told Marco "I've loved it, it's been great. I've done lots of telly with Gordon, and you on Hell's Kitchen is so refreshing and proper and you are so real and human giving them a shoulder to cry on.

"Gordon by comparison is so wooden and thick. I love Gordon but it shows you in such a good light. So human and brilliant. "

The music to Marco's ears continued: "When you are sitting on the pass at the end laughing and smiling with them it's so nice to see.
