Lily Loves New Look
Despite missing out on all four Brit Awards she was nominated for, Lily Allen has something to cheer her up with a deal to design a clothing line for high street fashion store New Look.
The new range called Lily Loves features six dresses, two pairs of shoes and brightly coloured accessories and can be found in stores from May 2007.
Lily told the Daily Mirror that the range is "all very different but all very me." She added: "They approached me last year and I did up some designs that they really liked".
The £250,000 deal also sees Allen follow other celebs into fashion design - Kate Moss has a deal with Topshop that hits stores a week before Allen's range debuts, and the M for Madonna line by H&M launches in March 2007.
At the Brits, the 'Queen of MySpace' was up for British Female, MasterCard British Album, British Single and British Breakthrough but lost to Amy Winehouse, the Arctic Monkeys, Take That and The Fratellis respectively.
But Allen insisted before the show started she wasn't expecting to win, claiming the industry show was corrupt.
She told MTV: "I already know I won't win any awards. I bet you £100 I'll get nothing.
"The judging committee are all industry insiders and they're predominantly from Universal [Records] - and I'm on EMI. I think you'll find that 70 per cent of the artists here tonight are on Universal. I'll leave you with that."
