The Sun reveals I'm a Celeb cast

8 November 2007 - As the new series of I'm a Celebrity & Get Me out of Here nears, the Sun claims to know who exactly is heading to the Australian jungle.

According to the newspaper, willing contestants preparing themselves to eat wichetty grubs this time around include ex-EastEnders star Marc Bannerman and ex-Hollyoaks babe Gemma Atkinson.

Brothers Richard and Fred Fairbrass of the band Right Said Fred have apparently signed up for the reality show, as has Katie Hopkins, who shot to fame following her infamous appearance on The Apprentice.

Anna Ryder Richardson, who was a designer on home makeover series Changing Rooms, is also heading down under, alongside singer Cerys Matthews and America's Next Top Model judge Janice Dickinson, among others.

The Sun added that torrential rain has threatened to turn the I'm a Celeb set into a swamp.

And presenter Matt Willis, who won last year's competition, told the paper it was absolutely soaked.

"I don't envy this year's contestants - I hope they've brought their waterproofs," he added.

Matt was crowned as king of the jungle following previous winners such as Carol Thatcher, Kerry Katona, Phil Tufnell and Tony Blackburn.
