Ulrika Jonsson expecting child

31 October 2007 - Ulrika Jonsson has announced that she is expecting her fourth child.

Currently engaged to American advertising executive Brian Monet, the TV presenter confirmed that she is ten weeks pregnant.

The 40-year-old told Hello! magazine that she was "very aware" of potential complications which may arise from having a baby at a later age.

However, she insisted that "despite my feelings of caution and pessimism, this is kind of a dream come true for me".

"I never had my life planned out & but I dreamed of having lots of children at my feet and rather cherished the idea of having a large family."

Ulrika has already been married twice, to cameraman John Turnbull and to reality show contestant Lance Gerrard-Wright.

Each of her marriages produced one child and she also has a daughter from her relationship with hotel manager Markus Kempen.

Commenting on the fact that she is about to have a child with a fourth different man, Ulrika said that it was "not solely [her] responsibility" that the previous relationships were not successful.

Lover Brian, 39, said he was "overjoyed" to learn his fiancee was pregnant.
