Strictly Come Dancing - Letitia Dean battles flu
6 December 2007 - Letitia Dean is working hard this week to battle the illness that affected her performance on Strictly Come Dancing.
According to the Suffolk Evening Star, Letitia has been busy rehearsing for panto at the Regent Theatre in Ipswich while also practising her routines for this week's episode.
The ex-EastEnders star has been under the weather and made a sharp exit from the set to be sick following her recent quickstep dance.
She then returned for her second performance but ended up in the bottom two with Kenny Logan.
However, theatre manager Hazel Clover said she was amazed by Letitia's commitment to the pantomime at a difficult time.
"It's a difficult day today and she is under pressure. It's hard work but I know she is really looking forward to performing in Ipswich," she said.
"She is juggling both commitments but we have every confidence in her."
The paper also revealed how Letitia and dance partner Darren Bennett had been secretly practising at a local ballroom to get in all the rehearsals they could.
This week will see the duo compete against remaining contestants Gethin Jones, Alesha Dixon and Matt di Angelo.
