Strictly Come Dancing - Kate Garraway's not chubby says hubby

11 December 2007 - Ex-Strictly star Kate Garraway says her husband has noticed how fabulous her body looks since appearing on the show.

The GMTV presenter, who was a complete disaster on the dancefloor, told Sunday magazine that she dropped almost two dress sizes thanks to the gruelling routines they have to perform in the competition.

She told the mag how her hubby Derek Draper just loves her newly-found muscle tone and she has gained a lot of confidence from her appearance on Strictly Come Dancing, reports Now.

"I'm now an 8-10 rather than a 12," she explained. "My muscles are unbelievably toned and taut & [my husband has] noticed how much my body has changed!"

Even though Kate was partnered with Anton Du Beke on the show, she proved to have two completely left feet and regularly received low scores from the judges.

However, the public chose to keep her in until the seventh round, when she lost out in the dance-off to John Barnes.

He eventually got the boot the following week, when the judges chose to keep Kelly Brook in the competition.
