X Factor - Dannii Minogue denies love affair

12 December 2007 - Although her sister may beg to differ, Dannii Minogue says there is nothing going on between herself and Simon Cowell.

Speaking to the Sun, Dannii said that the recently-revealed photograph of her and Simon allegedly holding hands was misinterpreted by those who saw it.

"Simon was just stretching out his arms," she said. "That picture looked so wrong but it wasn't at all. We weren't holding hands."

However, big sister Kylie said last month that there was unmistakable chemistry between the two and there would be no reason why Simon would not take a liking to Dannii.

And although Dannii has denied any kind of relationship - especially as Simon has a long-term girlfriend - she admitted that they do flirt for fun.

"But I don't fancy him," she maintained, going on to say that she much prefers someone like Gordon Ramsay or Hell's Kitchen star Marco Pierre White.

Meanwhile, fellow X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne let rip about Dannii on a forthcoming episode of Graham Norton's chatshow.

According to the Daily Mail, Sharon said the show - which is scheduled to air this week - only included the Aussie singer in this series because of her looks and not her talent.

Mrs O also talked about how devastated she felt when Niki Evans was booted out of the competition.
