Lily Cole to model for Marks & Spencer

15 November 2007 - Flame-haired supermodel Lily Cole has been revealed as the new face of Marks & Spencer's (M&S) Limited Collection clothing range.

Lily, who has previously been the clotheshorse for many world-famous designers, will join M&S' line-up of faces already involved in its advertising campaign.

These include supermodels Twiggy and Erin O'Connor in addition to I'm a Celebrity & Get Me Out of Here and Hear'Say star Myleene Klass.

Lily is only 19 but worth millions and known across the globe for her ethereal beauty and pale skin, which catapulted her to fame and put her on the catwalk for fashion houses such as DKNY and Louis Vuitton.

Unsurprisingly, M&S said it was "thrilled" to welcome Lily into the family and have her model for the Limited Collection.

"Her striking beauty goes without saying and her commitment to environmental issues makes for a great partnership with M&S," said managing director Steve Sharp.

However, she was at the centre of an argument between Amy Winehouse and her husband last month, according to Fametastic.

When attending the launch party for the Olsen twins' new clothing range, Amy was said to have "gone ballistic" at hubby Blake Fielder-Civil after seeing him hang out with Lily all night.
