Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster

Rod says Penny is strictly off limits

9 November 2007 - Rod Stewart cannot wait until his wife Penny Lancaster finishes her stint on Strictly Come Dancing, he has said.

The rocker, who married Penny in June of this year, told the Sun that the couple are planning to have another baby, but can only do it once she is finished with the reality show.

Rod and Penny already have a two-year-old son called Alastair, although the singer has six other children from previous relationships.

"Penny is all set to rock and roll after all the exercise on the dancing show," he told the newspaper, adding that while Penny wants a baby girl, he is "not fussed".

However, he maintained that another baby would be his last and called it "the big finish".

"We've planned and discussed it & after this the office is closed forever and the doors bolted."

Penny's partner on Strictly Come Dancing is Ian Waite and her performances have received mixed comments.

As a model and photographer, Penny previously promoted the Ultimo brand of lingerie but was later replaced with Rachel Hunter - Rod Stewart's ex-wife, with whom he has two young children.
