I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! - Katie Hopkins

I'm A Celebrity - Apprentice Katie Hopkins gets the boot

23 November 2007 - Former Apprentice contestant Katie Hopkins became the second person to be voted off I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! last night.

The tomboyish latecomer to the jungle followed Marc Bannerman to the luxury of the Gold Cost hotel to leave the rest of the jungle celebs to battle it out for another few weeks.

And chatting to Ant And Dec after trekking across the aerial bridge for the last time, Katie revealed that jungle life looks easier on TV: "I think the impression when you're watching at home is that it's somehow easy," she said whilst sipping her bubbly. "It's not like that at all. It's tough."

And Katie revealed the bugs and critters she had to battle were not the only things she was worried about before entering camp: "Waiting to come in was harder... thinking they might not know the real me."

Katie overcame her nerves when buried alive with 20,000 cockroaches, suspended over a 200ft ravine in the show's fourth bushtucker trial to win a meal for every person in camp.

But she didn't really take to Lynne Franks: "I like people who work hard and there weren't a whole lot of them," she sighed. "Lynne is all relaxed and Zen and doesn't do much grafting. I'm the opposite of that."
