Big Brother fan claims Billi hotel alibi
24 September 2007 - Claims that Big Brother contestant Billi slept with fellow housemate Chanelle hours after the end of the live finale have been put into question by a fan of the show.
Reports suggested that the two BB stars had spent the night together, despite the on-off relationship between Chanelle and housemate Ziggy appearing to be on the verge of being on again during the show.
According to the Daily Star, however, Billi spent the night chatting with a BB fan and her friends in the hotel that it is claimed he had a tryst with Chanelle in.
Nicki Powner had been staying at the Watford Ramada that same night and said she had talked to several of the contestants at the bar.
She saw Billi enter the bar in the early hours of the morning and then go up to his room, while Ms Powner went to her own room shortly afterwards.
Minutes later, Billi entered her room and said he just wanted to have a chat and check his MySpace page on Ms Powner's laptop.
"He was on my computer for ages - well past the time he claimed he’d gone to Chanelle's room," she told the Daily Star.
Essex-born Brian won this year's cash prize at the end of the show, with twins Sam and Amanda coming in second place.
