Prince to laud up London
Pop star Prince has revealed plans to perform no fewer than 21 times in London over the course of the summer - his only European appearances of the year.
The 48-year-old is to play seven times at the O2 Arena (the venue formerly known as the Millennium Dome), as well as a series of secret club venue gigs.
Coinciding with the release of his new album, 3121, the cost of a ticket to see Prince perform will be a paltry £31.21, which will even include a copy of the album itself.
For one of the music industry's most famous stars, this represents great value for money when compared to the £600 currently being paid for some Barbara Streisand tickets.
Prince revealed he would be playing any number of 150 songs prepared for the shows, while adding that he would relish the chance to sing with Londoner Amy Winehouse.
His best-selling album to date was soundtrack Purple Rain which includes the hits When Doves Cry and Let's Go Crazy, although he is probably best known for the single Kiss.
