Paris' sister annoyed over her early release

Nicky Hilton was put out by the early release of her socialite jailbird sister Paris as she had to cut short a holiday to attend the welcome party.

The 23-year-old fashion designer was enjoying a trip to Greece with her boyfriend David Katzenburg, but was called back by her parents to show a "united front" at the time of her elder sister's release from the Lynwood Detention Facility.

A source told the New York Daily News: "Her parents dragged her back because they didn't think it would be good for the family's image if they didn't show a united front.

"She loves her sister but thinks the whole media circus is ridiculous."

Nicky previously visited her sister while she was still in jail and told reporters that her sibling was "being strong" despite losing her freedom.

Compared to 26-year-old Paris' constant partying, Nicky has not embraced the Hollywood party scene so much and has attempted to launch a career in fashion, having designed handbags since she was 17 years old.

She also rejected a part in reality TV show the Simple Life which, along with a sordid sex tape, helped propel Paris to fame.
