Glasto fashion by Stella

Fashionistas braving this year's Glastonbury festival need not fret as designer Stella McCartney will be launching a specially created vest.

Just 5,000 shirts will be made and will only be available for sale at one Oxfam stall at the event for £30 each.

Festival organiser Emily Eavis said: "Stella has a long-standing relationship with Glastonbury and has been coming to the festival for many years, so it's great for us to have this opportunity to work together.

"People at Glastonbury can get their hands on a genuine collector's item and - even better - all the proceeds go to Oxfam, which is a charity we're very close to."

Glasto's gates open on Wednesday, with thousands of people planning to descend on festival founder Michael Eavis' fields for five days.

The results of the last invasion of people in 2005 saw a huge thunderstorm chuck down a month's rain in three hours and turned the site into a muddy quagmire - washing away 300 tents and flooding toilet facilities.

Some £750,000 has been spent to avoid protect against a repeat performance, while Michael himself was this week recognised for his efforts with the festival - being granted a CBE in the Queen's honours list.
