Keira longs for curves
Despite a stick-thin figure and having cheekbones that could cut glass, actress Keira Knightley wishes she had more curves.
Bemoaning her naturally rakish figure, the 22-year-old star said her ideal body type was that of Italian actress and sex symbol Monica Belluci, best-known for her role as Persephone in the two Matrix sequels.
"I would love to have Monica Belluci's figure. I'm never going to get it. I'm naturally who I am," she said in an interview with breakfast show GMTV.
However, the Pride and Prejudice star ruled out following the trend of many starlets in Hollywood and getting plastic surgery, saying: "It's far too frightening. I couldn't."
Keira has previously been criticised for being so thin, supposedly setting a bad example for young women, but she threw her backing behind calls for a more balanced view of women in magazines and on TV.
"It would be great in the media if we saw a wider range of women of all shapes and sizes," she said.
"To say it's OK to comment and put that kind of pressure on women, I don't think that's cool."
