Strictly Come Dancing - Alesha Dixon still friends with cheating ex

23 November 2007 - Alesha Dixon is on good terms with her ex-husband - even though he cheated on her and now lives with his pregnant girlfriend.

Alesha, who has swiftly become the belle of the ballroom with her grace and style on the dancefloor, told Hello! magazine that she has moved on but still speaks to MC Harvey, who was caught in the act with Popstars: The Rivals reject Javine Hylton.

Although Javine and Harvey are now expecting a baby, Alesha said she has released any bitterness about the situation and continues to communicate with her ex in a mature way, reports Now.

"We speak to each other with respect and we are dealing with the situation as best we can," the 29-year-old explained.

"If you hold onto all the bitterness and anger the only person you hurt is yourself."

However, Alesha admitted that she was deeply heartbroken when she learned of Harvey's betrayal.

"I was shattered," she added.

Alesha was previously in a hip-hop-pop band called Mis-Teeq and clocked up numerous chart hits from 2000 to 2005.

Her partner on Strictly Come Dancing is Matthew Cutler, with whom she scored the highest score this series - 38 points out of a possible 40 - for her waltz routine.
