Strictly Come Dancing - Craig Revel Horwood backs Alesha Dixon

21 November 2007 - Craig Revel Horwood is backing Alesha Dixon to win Strictly Come Dancing and says she is clearly the most talented contestant.

The judge told Reveal magazine that she is "my favourite" and "the sexiest by far", as well as being the best dancer.

However, he expressed concern that the public tended to vote for the most popular celebrities instead of who is actually best on the dancefloor.

"It's been shown that often the person with the most talent doesn't win - for example, Gabby Logan going out so early in the show was insane," Craig remarked, adding: "Alesha is amazing & she should be the clear winner."

Alesha's partner on Strictly Come Dancing is Matthew Cutler and the pair has not yet been placed in the bottom two.

In fact, they have been recipients of the highest score of the week three times, recently gaining 38 out of 40 for their waltz - the top score so far in this series.

It is thought Alesha's main contender for the crown of dancefloor champion will be Kelly Brook, although Matt Di Angelo and John Barnes are also hot contenders for first place.
