Kate Garraway's sexiness struggle

24 October 2007 - Strictly Come Dancing's Kate Garraway has admitted that she finds it difficult to be sexy on the show, explaining that she is "very English".

The GMTV presenter told the Sun that both her onscreen partner and her husband have questioned whether her moves are hot enough.

"I've been practising my sexy dance moves in the bedroom but my husband says he's just put off by my M&S tartan pyjamas - it's not a very sexy sight," she confessed.

The 39-year-old then went on to say that her dance partner, Anton du Beke, has told her that dancing with her "is like trying to snog Julie Andrews".

"I just find it very hard to do all the sexy moves on TV - it's like inviting people into your bedroom. I'm very English, I know."

During a recent episode of Strictly Come Dancing, Kate and Anton were awarded the lowest score of the evening - 19 out of 40.

But Kate said she was determined to not let the judge's harsh comments get to her.

The Oxfordshire girl is married to psychotherapist Derek Draper and has a 17-month-old daughter named Darcey.
