Strictly Come Dancing - Alesha Dixon speaks out

21 December 2007 - Alesha Dixon, the only female left in the competition has told Laura Roberts from the Daily Mail that she is surprised to be in the final.

She said: "I was absolutely convinced that it was going to be an all boy final."

Despite being the bookies hot favourite to win Alesha honesty believed that Gethin Jones and Matt Di Angelo would be in the final.

"They are both gorgeous boys...I just thought that the public would go for the boys."

Alesha thought the women voters would back the boys, as the last two Strictly Come Dancing Finals have been all male.

"I was pleasantly surprised by the public because I though the women would all go for the boys."

The whole nation will be glued to their television screens this weekend to see if Alesha can do it. Will she be the next Strictly Come Dancing champion?
