Dancing On Ice - Greg Rusedski lends support to sporty charity
16 January 2008 - Tennis champ Greg Rusedski is set to take part in a celebrity charity tennis match for Sport Relief.
Greg, who is currently showing off his figure skating skills on Dancing On Ice, will be partnered with TV's Jonathan Ross for the doubles match, which will be held at Albert Hall in London.
According to the BBC, the team will go up against comedian Jimmy Carr and Pat Cash, the 1987 Wimbledon winner.
The match will be broadcast on the BBC on Friday March 14th during the Sport Relief night of entertainment. The charity intends to present special editions of The Apprentice, Question of Sport, Strictly Come Dancing and the Antiques Roadshow as part of the festivities.
Other celebs taking part in Sport Relief include Adrian Chiles and Alan Shearer - who plan to cycle between Newcastle and London.
In addition, former Olympic gold medal-winning rower James Cracknell plans to row himself from England to Africa to inspire people to get involved with the charity.
According to the Press Association, bookies have placed Greg in fourth place to win Dancing On Ice, following Chris Fountain, Gareth Gates and Suzanne Shaw.
