Jamie Oliver - Fifteen pub closes down
17 January - Jamie Oliver's week gets worse as his Fifteen pub closes
Jamie Oliver is definately having a bad week.
On Wednesday we revealed that his Fifteen Cornwall restaurant served battery eggs while he made his case against battery hens in Jamie's Fowl Dinners.' Now it turns out his Fifteen pub has closed down.
Jamie ran a competition last year between the best three of his Fifteen chefs. The winner won a pub called The Cock Inn.
Aaron Craze was the lucky chef and he turned The Cock Inn in Beazley End into an Italian style pub/restaurant. At first the pub was a success but the real ale drinking locals have refused to drink there.
One local told the Mirror, "He turned it from a delightful country pub into a vulgar gastropub selling over-priced, poncey food."
Jamie is taking Aaron back under his wing and has offered him another job.
