Dancing On Ice - Judge says Aggie is an OAP

16 January 2008 - Dancing On Ice contestant Aggie MacKenzie has been described as an "OAP" and a show-off by Jason Gardiner.

The judge, who is notorious for his harsh criticism of the show's contestants, said on This Morning that the How Clean Is Your House? presenter's bruises were not what he was hoping to see during Sunday's competition.

Former Blue Peter presenter Sarah Greene - the first celebrity ice skater to get the boot from the show - told Philip Schofield and Fern Britton that Aggie has been altering her skating costumes to show off more bruises and gain extra sympathy from the show's judges.

Prior to Sunday's opening show, Aggie said she planned to push through the pain of a hamstring injury to take part in the competition.

In rehearsals, the cleaning guru was reportedly in tears and claimed she would be skating on adrenaline after a fall with partner Sergery Malyshev last Thursday, according to Digital Spy.

Aggie is not the only Dancing On Ice contestant to suffer an injury during rehearsals - singer Samantha Mumba missed practices because of an illness last week and Hollyoaks star Chris Fountain damaged a small bone at the base of his spine during a tumble.
