Big Brother Celebrity Hijack - Davina here to stay
16 January 2008 - Big Brother Celebrity Hijack presenter Davina McCall claims rumours she has been offered a job in America are untrue.
Speaking on Richard and Judy on Tuesday evening, Davina - who has presented the show for eight years - said that tabloid gossip she was in talks with American TV producers was simply a rumour.
"Some of these things I don't know where they get it from - I suppose I should be flattered that they keep writing," she said.
Calling the Big Brother franchise "my baby", she added that she loves the programme and is not yet ready to leave it behind.
"I wouldn't leave Big Brother unless they asked me to," she said.
Meanwhile, Big Brother Celebrity Hijack host Dermot O'Leary announced at the weekend that he will leave the Big Brother's Little Brother franchise at the end of the current season and is planning a massive goodbye party for himself before he sets off on a month-long holiday with girlfriend Dee.
"I want to throw a party for everyone who's worked on Little Brother over the years. I'd love to host that, it would be great fun," he told the Sunday Mirror, adding that he is looking forward to his first summer holiday in seven years.
