Hilary Duff blames a faulty microphone for lip sync error

Actress and singing sensation Hilary Duff has hit back at claims she lip synced during a concert on Saturday. A video has appeared on YouTube which suggests that she wasn't singing live. In the video Hilary is bent over the mic and appears to be singing into it but there is no sound coming out of her mouth.

Hilary is upset at the accusations and her rep has said "faulty equipment" was to blame. Her rep told People magazine,

"She was not lip-synching,"
"It was faulty equipment. There was no sound coming out, but she was singing."

Hilary was not using her normal equipment but was using local sound equipment. She certainly won't be making that mistake again!
