Brad Renfro - Autopsy after his unexpected death

18 January 2008 - Brad Renfro's body is autopsied

The Los Angeles County Department of Coroner have confirmed that an autopsy has
been carried out today on Brad Renfro's body.

It will take six weeks for the results to come back.

Paramedics pronounced Brad dead on Tuesday after he was found by his girlfriend. The coroner's officials are now interviewed Brad's friends and family.

It is thought that Brad was drinking the night before his death but it is unknown at this time whether this was the cause of his death.

Brad starred in 'The Client' with Tommy Lee Jones and Susan Sarandon. Susan has spoken in reponse to Brad's death,
"It was obvious to everyone that he was the sweetest, most incredibly gifted young actor to come along for some time...My heart goes out to the family for their tragic loss."
