Walsh forgives Cowell over X Factor sack
Former X Factor judge Louis Walsh has accepted an apology from pop mogul Simon Cowell after he was axed from the ITV show.
Louis, 54, had formerly vowed not to speak to Simon again after his abrupt sacking from the judge panel earlier this year in a shake-up of the reality talent show.
But the pair hugged and made up in Los Angeles during taping of This Is Your Life.
Simon offered Louis a "grovelling apology" on the set after receiving the big red book from Sir Trevor McDonald for the ITV show dedicated to his success in the music and television world.
After accepting the apology and a hug, the Irish pop producer said Simon was "the best and a really good guy".
However, the matter has not been completely swept out of his mind as he added it was "forgiven but not forgotten".
Other celebs attending Cowell's This Is Your Life celebration included Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, TV hosts Ant and Dec and his fellow American Idol judge Paula Abdul.
