The One and Only - Carrie and David Grant give their verdicts
28 January 2008 - Singer and voice coach Carrie Grant and her husband David have given their verdicts during the third round of the show.
Lionel Richie impersonator and supermarket worker Moni Tivony kicked off proceedings with Dancing on the Ceiling, with Carrie feeling that he shouted the performance of the up-tempo number too much.
Her partner David was kinder to Katy Setterfield following her performance of Dusty Springfield's You Don't Have To Say You Love Me.
"Dusty Springfield has been rated as one the top five US soul singers," he told the musician from High Wycombe.
"Having watched your performance, I can see why."
Carrie was equally complimentary about Britney impersonator Tara Stafford-Allen, praising her energy for the performance of the hit single Toxic, but the compliments did not manage to save her from the votes of the public and Tara was eliminated.
Also in the bottom two this week was Victoria Jones who performed Kylie Minogue's number one smash Can't Get You Out of My Head, despite David calling the performance her strongest so far in the competition.
David and Carrie Grant have previously worked together on Fame Academy and the Comic Relief does Fame Academy charity specials.
