The One and Only - Katy doesn't want to muck up
21 January 2008 - Dusty Springfield wannabe Katy Setterfield doesn't want to "muck it up" during her performances on The One and Only.
Katy - who received praise from judge Carrie Grant for her performance on Saturday night - told the Buckinghamshire Free Press that she wants "to show everybody the singer I really can be" and is working hard to make the best of her time in the competition.
"I have got to 37 and think that's it, I am never going to get a break," she added, before performing the classic song Wishing and Hoping.
Before appearing on The One and Only, Katy was the frontwoman of touring stage show That'll Be The Day, performing songs made famous by Cher, Tina Turner and Dusty Springfield.
This weekend, Madonna tribute act Evelyne Brink was sent home following her performance of Papa Don't Preach.
Judges David and Carrie Grant gave a mixed review of German-born Evelyne's performance, saying while she had improved her stage presence, her "wavering" vocals were not enough to carry her through the competition.
Following her elimination, she told presenter Graham Norton that she has "loved every minute" of appearing on the reality programme.
