The One and Only - Anthony Adams spent his weekend paying bills
25 January 2008 - Frank Sinatra tribute act Anthony Adams spent a quiet Sunday in Bournemouth paying bills and updating his car insurance.
Anthony, a frozen food delivery driver from Southbourne, sports a wig and false nose to impersonate the crooner on The One and Only.
With only one day off each week, he said it is nice to be able to come home and spend time with his family once in awhile - even if the BBC sent along a camera to film the reunion with his wife Mariel and children Olivia and Thomas this weekend.
During the week, the contestants of the show live in a London hotel and sometimes rehearse for up to 12 hours each day with vocal coaches David and Carrie Grant, Anthony told the Dorset Echo.
"Most of the day is spent rehearsing the song, learning choreography and organising costumes, all building up to the live Saturday night performance," he said.
Anthony added that it is interesting to live with the other tribute acts, as some are "obsessed" with living the life of the celebrity they portray on The One and Only.
"The guy playing Robbie, for example, is out clubbing every night and living the life," he said of fellow contestant Tony Lewis.
The One and Only is presented by comedian Graham Norton and is scheduled to run for eight weeks on BBC One.
