Strictly Come Dancing - Kate Garraway and Anton Du Beke to star in new series
27 December 2007 - Strictly Come Dancing's comedy couple Anton Du Beke and Kate Garraway are to reunite for a new GMTV series, it emerged today.
Kate, who many thought was possibly the worst dancer the show had ever seen, will team up with a nutritionist, fitness guru, life coach and doctor to present Inch-Loss Island, Digital Spy reported.
The series helps participants to regain their shape and health after overindulging at Christmas and this time around will involve Anton teaching the group a dance to help them get fit.
"It's great to have Anton in the team this year," Kate said. "I firmly believe that everyone should consider dancing as a way to work out and have fun."
Anton, who the Daily Mail claims is really called Tony Beak, is considered by many to be one of Strictly's finest dancers but unfortunately could not help Kate improve her two left feet.
The couple was voted out in week seven after a painful pasodoble. Alesha Dixon and partner Matthew Cutler went on to win the series, after a closely-fought battle with Matt Di Angelo and Flavia Cacace.
