Strictly Come Dancing - Christmas Special details
18 December 2007 - The series may be almost over but fans of Strictly can look forward to a fabulous Christmas Special during the festive season.
Featuring a host of celebrities from the current series, the show should be a sparkling treat for those who have followed the ups and downs of each contestant over the past few months.
Today, the BBC unveiled which Christmas songs the couples will dance to - although details about who will perform which routine are still under wraps.
However, those who do take the floor will dance to either Silver Bells by Harry Connick Jr, Amazing Grace by J Newton or Wham's classic festive track Last Christmas.
Other tunes include Kool & the Gang's funk-tastic Celebration, Ella Fitzgerald singing Santa Claus is Coming to Town and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, and Wizzard's lively ditty I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday.
In addition to the Christmas Special, The Story of Strictly is also a must-see for fans.
The programme takes a look at how and why the show has become so popular, while also remembering its inspiration - the long-running series Come Dancing.
