Strictly Come Dancing - Javine Hylton backs Alesha Dixon

20 December 2007 - The woman expecting Alesha Dixon's ex-husband's baby has said she is rooting for the singer to win Strictly Come Dancing.

Javine Hylton, who most people will know as the Popstars reject who narrowly missed out in a place in Girls Aloud, told the Mirror that she is backing Alesha all the way.

However, she might be an unlikely supporter of the ex-Mis-Teeq star, after Alesha's ex, MC Harvey, left her after having an affair with Javine.

"It might sound strange for me to say this but I genuinely want her to be happy and I really hope she wins," Javine, who is now seven months pregnant, explained.

But she admitted that she is still probably not Alesha's favourite person.

"I fell in love and I'm sorry that doing so hurt her. But there's nothing I can really say, is there?

"I'm sure she wanted to give me a few slaps around the head."

Meanwhile, Alesha is busy preparing for the final of the competition, where she will face EastEnders heartthrob Matt Di Angelo.

Each couple is required to perform five dances in the last round of the contest.
