EastEnders clinch named sexiest scene

12 September 2007 - A scene in which two characters in EastEnders engage in a passionate tryst on a desk has been named the sexiest in a new poll.

The encounter between Grant Mitchell (Ross Kemp) and Jane Beale (Laurie Brett) shown last year on EastEnders was identified as the sauciest soap moment in a survey by Mates condoms.

Brookside's 1993 episode in which Beth and Margaret had a lesbian kiss took second place in the rankings.

Additionally, the figures indicate that Roxanne Pallett, who plays Jo Stiles on Emmerdale, is the sexiest female soap star, most likely to hold a place in men's fantasies.

At the same time, Robert Kazinsky - Sean Slater from Enders - is the male soap star that women find most attractive.

The study found that 42 per cent of people who fantasise about famous people choose to think about soap stars - who ranked higher than both pop singers and actors.

In other EastEnders news, Lucy Turner recently admitted that she is tired of her onscreen affair and hopes it gets resolved soon.

Her character, Stacey Slater, has been cheating on her fiance Bradley Branning with his father.
