Kerry heads to the Priory

Kerry Katona, the iconic face of Iceland, has gone to rehab because she is so shaken up after an armed raid on her home earlier this week.

The former Atomic Kitten star suffers from bipolar disorder which she had been keeping under control thanks to previous therapy sessions but following Sunday's episode, where three masked thieves burst into her home, it has flared up again.

So Kerry has fled to celebrity clinic favourite, The Priory, where she can get help.

'Bipolar disorder is something she has suffered from for some time and the condition has, of course, been very much brought on by what happened,' said her publicist, Max Clifford.

'She has been treated in the Priory before so they know her problems and her symptoms. It was a question of getting her there as quickly as possible so she can receive the right treatment.'

She will stay at the clinic for two weeks.
