Something borrowed, something bruised for newly-wed Kerry Katona
Kerry Katona's Valentine's Day wedding was not the start of marital bliss that she may have hoped after things turned violent at the reception.
Guests claim that seven-months-pregnant Kerry threw a drunken punch at her new husband Mark Croft after he asked her to stop drinking.
An 'insider' told the News of the World that Kerry "blew her top and went for him [Croft] and tried to throw a proper punch. He went mad and refused to spend the night with her".
But another explanation for the marital strife was suggested by publicist Max Clifford, who told the Sun that Mark Croft's flatulence kept them apart on their wedding night.
He said: "Mark has been suffering from awful wind lately. He stayed in another room. She and Mark did row, but they are very happy today."
Last year Kerry Katona's mum, Sue, threw doubt on whether Croft was really in love with her daughter or just in it for her money.
But her suspicions were proved wrong after Croft signed a pre-nuptial agreement which will not entitle him to any of the former Atomic Kitten's earnings.
And it seems that all has been forgiven as Kerry's mum was one of just a few guests invited to the wedding.
