Christina Aguilera's pregnancy excitement

Christina Aguilera has reportedly been gushing about her pregnancy.

The 'Dirrty' singer - who is rumoured to be four months pregnant - told her obstetrician's receptionist how thrilled she was to be expecting her first child.

A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: "Christina couldn't contain her excitement. She said she couldn't wait for the baby to be born."

Last week, Christina revealed she wanted her unborn baby to be bilingual.

The blonde star - who speaks fluent Spanish - said: "I definitely want my kids to know Spanish. And I'm taking my language tapes on tour."

Although the singer's father, Fausto Aguilera, confirmed his daughter's pregnancy last month, Christina is still reluctant to talk about it.

When asked directly if she and husband Jordan Bratman are expecting their first child, she coyly replied: "It's definitely something we can't wait to begin."

A joyous Fausto said last month: "I'm so excited. I want Christina to achieve all her goals. I wish her all the happiness in the world."
