Wedding bells for Corrie star?

Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone Dobbs, could soon be walking down the aisle, according to reports.

Having just returned from a trip to South Africa - where girlfriend Lucy-Jo Hudson spends half of each year filming Wild At Heart - friends say Halsall is determined to take an engagement ring with him next time.

"He hates to be so far apart from her and would fly out to see her every day if he could. They have talked about marriage in the past but nothing has happened until now," a source told the Daily Star Sunday.

"But Alan's got something up his sleeve and I think Lucy-Jo will like it!"

The pair met on the set of Corrie and began dating in 2005. Hudson left the soap in April of that year.

In related news, Richard Fleeshman, who used to play Craig Harris, is set to release an album of his own material this year, after signing a contract with Universal Records.
