I'm a Celebrity - You've hurt my heart says Cerys Matthews

22 November 2007 - Cerys Matthews opened up to Marc Bannerman before he left the jungle and told him her true feelings, it has been revealed.

The singer, who has two children from a previous marriage, appeared to tell Marc what their friendship really meant to her in a late-night heart-to-heart.

"My chest hurts," she said while prodding him on his chest.

He asked: "Why, what's going on? Have you hurt yourself?"

Cerys then suggested for him to think what was under his chest - meaning her heart.

After realising what she meant, Marc replied: "Oh. I've got to be so careful ... I don't want to hurt anyone."

Viewers will know that Marc's exit from the camp when he was voted off was rather painful to watch, as he knew his girlfriend would not be happy with his conduct in the jungle.

He told Ant and Dec that he wanted to go home to the UK straight away, instead of waiting until the series finished.

Meanwhile, the boyfriend of Lynne Franks has hit out at the producers of the show who he claims are making her look like an idiot.

He told the Daily Mirror that they were just showing her chanting and meditating - which actually really works for her back at home.
