Tara Palmer-Tomkinson denies dating co-star
21 September 2007 - Tara Palmer-Tomkinson has rubbished claims that she is involved with her co-star on reality show Dirty Cows.
The socialite said she is not dating Alexy Van Kimmenade, who is appearing as an eligible bachelor on the Living TV programme. Tara presents the show, in which she helps group of girls compete to gain his attention.
But former contestant Chantelle Minifee alleged that Tara had nabbed the prize gentleman herself.
The 22-year-old Cardiff girl said that Tara and Alexy were "all over each other" and engaged in a relationship.
Tara responded by telling the Sun online: "I'd never road-test the prize. How rude. We're like brother and sister.
"But seriously, I was really hurt by those claims. I can't believe anyone would be taken in by that fame-hungry girl."
The claims about Tara mirror the example set by Ulrika Jonsson, who - while hosting Mr Right on ITV1 - began dating the trophy man, Lance Gerrard-Wright.
Her actions caused an outcry, although the couple married in 2003. They have since divorced.
Recently, Tara spoke about an experience in which she swallowed a £10,000 diamond after a boyfriend hid it in the chocolate pudding.
However, her date had too much to drink and forget to warn her about the gift until it was too late.
