X Factor - Sharon Osbourne took 3 days to make up with Simon Cowell

29 November 2007 - It took Sharon Osbourne a whopping three days to make up with Simon Cowell after the pair's onscreen spat, she has revealed.

After walking out of the show a few weeks ago, controversy surrounded Sharon and the show's new format, which has included a new presenter and extra judge.

But in an interview with US TV show Extra, Sharon said she is friends with Simon again.

"It took me at least three days to pluck up the courage. But we've made up."

Viewers were left wondering whether Sharon would return after the first live final, when two of her acts faced elimination and she had a tantrum, refusing to vote for which one should go.

Although it appears to be all smiles now, Sharon has no acts left in the competition.

Meanwhile, it was alleged this week that bosses of the singing competition are so sure that Welsh warbler Rhydian Roberts will win, they are spending nearly all of the clothing budget on him.

X Factor stylist Faye Sawyer told the Sun that the Rhydler's sparkly silver suit cost £4,500, whereas Hope have to wear £40 dresses from the high street.
