Strictly Come Dancing - Gethin Jones' tight pants woo Katherine Jenkins

7 December 2007 - Gethin Jones has a secret girlfriend in the form of opera singer Katherine Jenkins, it has been revealed.

The Welsh hunk, who has reached the last four of the ballroom-based show, has been dating Katherine since she appeared on the programme in October, according to the Sun.

The singer's spokesperson told the newspaper that the two have been friends for a long time and have been on "several dates".

Gethin and Katherine were spotted canoodling at a recent Take That concert and she also popped into the Strictly studio to watch him rehearse.

An insider on-set said that because they are both so gorgeous, it is no surprise they were attracted to each other.

"It's early days, but they're getting on very well. Gethin's tight dancing trousers and sparkly shirts must have done the trick," the source claimed, adding that Katherine will surely see the benefit of the Blue Peter presenter's new-found "snake hips".

Gethin is set to perform on the show once again this week with dance partner Camilla Dallerup.

Also left in the competition is hunky EastEnders star Matt Di Angelo, singer Alesha Dixon and actress Letitia Dean.
