Strictly Come Dancing - Matt di Angelo 'stole' Flavia

2 January 2008 - 'Strictly Come Dancing' star Vincent Simone claims Matt di Angelo "stole" Flavia Cacace from him.

The world tango champion split from the 27-year-old beauty after she fell for 20-year-old 'EastEnders' star Matt, her celebrity dance partner on the show.

Vincent confessed to Britain's The People newspaper: "Matt has stolen the only woman I've ever loved. I feel empty and am beside myself. I've never felt like this before and all I want is to have her back.

"She's the love of my life and I thought we'd be together forever and get married but now I don't know what's going on.

"I didn't even want to go to the end-of-show wrap party but I forced myself. When she and Matt went off to cosy up on a sofa in the corner together, that was it. I took her to one side and asked her again what was going on.

"She cried and told me she'd fallen for him. She should have told me before and the fact that she didn't upset me more. I was so angry and upset with her, disappointed too.

"I'm suffering every single day that I'm not with her and to see her with Matt on and off the dancefloor will be unbearable."

Vincent and Flavia, who met as teenagers, have been professional dance partners for 13 years and have lived together for 11 years.

Now Flavia has moved out of the home she shared with her Italian dance partner and is living with her parents her parents.

Vincent said: "I still want to dance with Flavia. I want to be her everything again - her lover, her dance partner and her friend."

Matt and Flavia were runners up on the hit BBC dance show, which was won by former Misteeq singer Alesha Dixon and her partner.
