Strictly Come Dancing - Kelly Brook kicks off at boozy Brendan Cole
26 November 2007 - Kelly Brook and Brendan Cole have had a series of rows about his lack of commitment to the show, it has been revealed.
The dancing duo, who were recently placed in the bottom two after a sloppy samba won them just 29 points out of 40, usually dazzle the judges and could be in the running to win the competition.
But according to the Daily Star, Brendan has been arriving for rehearsals stinking of booze - much to the annoyance of Kelly who is determined to be the best in the ballroom.
"She has openly admitted that she is incredibly competitive and is putting in all the hours she can," a source told the newspaper. "But she doesn't think Brendan is putting in the same effort."
The source added that Kelly is worried Brendan's partying antics could put their chances of winning at risk - especially since fellow dancers Alesha Dixon and Matt di Angelo are getting better and better as the weeks go by.
"[Brendan] has turned up late for practice too many times for Kelly's liking," the insider continued. "It is normally the dancers who feel the celebs aren't pulling their weight but in this case it is role reversal."
The most recent instalment of Strictly Come Dancing saw John Barnes voted off the show, after an average samba.
Top scorers once again were Alesha and partner Matt Cutler, whose cha cha cha managed to whip the judges into a flurry of excitement.
