Strictly Come Dancing - Kelly Brook wins dance-off
27 November 2007 - John Barnes was voted off 'Strictly Come Dancing' on Sunday after losing the dance-off to Kelly Brook.
The former England and Liverpool footballer and his professional partner Nicole Cutler failed to impress the judges and public with their samba routine and found themselves in the bottom two with model Kelly and her partner Brendan Cole.
After both couples performed again, all four judges - Craig Revel Horwood, Arlene Phillips, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli - chose to save Kelly, sending John home.
Despite being kicked off, the sportsman has vowed to carry on dancing after he lost 12lbs.
He said: "I can see it because I can fit into some of my old clothes that were too tight.
"I'll definitely keep dancing now, and do other exercise like running a few times a week."
Singer Alesha Dixon once again topped the judges' scoreboard after receiving an impressive 39 out of 40 for her Cha Cha Cha.
She was closely followed by former 'EastEnders' star Matt Di Angelo, who got 38 for his raunchy salsa routine.
Rugby player Kenny Logan, 'Blue Peter' presenter Gethin Jones and former 'EastEnders' actress Letitia Dean are also left in the competition.
