Richard Fleeshman´s career dumping

17 October 2007 - Richard Fleeshman dumped 'Emmerdale' beauty Roxanne Pallett because he was determined to put his career first.

Despite reports claiming it was Roxanne who ended their two-year relationship, former 'Coronation Street' actor and aspiring singer Richard was the one who decided it was time to finish it.

A source said: "Roxanne's upset about Richard ending things, especially as she hates her private life being in the public eye. He's keen to make it as a singer. However, she's determined to focus on her work and get over him."

Friends of the couple - who met on celebrity talent show 'Soapstar Superstar' in 2005 - claim there were problems for some time.

One pal, who watched them both sing for the British Prime Minister Gordon Brown at a hotel in Bournemouth two weeks ago, said: "They barely spoke all night. I felt really sorry for Roxanne as she spent most of it alone.

"Richard was arrogant and talked over Roxanne's performance. He even walked out during it.

"He ended the evening in the bar, bragging about his new album, saying it was going to be huge. He also boasted about the amount of money being put into the record deal."
