Parky shocked by undressed Beckham

14 September - Michael Parkinson has admitted that he was taken off guard when he was faced with David Beckham in just his underwear.

The incident occurred when the footballer was getting ready for an interview with the 72-year-old veteran presenter in a nearby dressing room.

"The showers weren't working properly and he came round just in his pants and knocked on my door," Parky explained, according to the Sun.

"He's got a great body - he's very lean. He's standing there looking like an archangel and says, 'Can I use your shower?'"

Becks then went on to use the shower, wrap the towel around his waist and stroll back to his dressing room.

Parkinson added that a passing secretary caught a glimpse of the sport star, which caused her to drop all the papers she was carrying.

The chat show personality went on to explain that he has admiration for Beckham, both as a footballer and "as a man".

He said that although super-famous couple David and Victoria Beckham have signed "a pact with the devil" to let celebrity into their lives, they are fairly clean-living.

Beckham appears shirtless and tattooed in a new advertisement for the Motorola RAZR2.
