Dancing on Ice – Ex contestant says no to a reunion

3 January 2008 – Ex-boyband singer Duncan James has nixed any potential plans for a Blue reunion.

James, who sang in the group alongside Simon Webbe, Lee Ryan and Antony Costa, told the Mirror that there was no chance of the lads getting back together.

Since Blue split up, James has released records as a soloist but may be better known for his appearance in Dancing on Ice last year.

After wowing the judges, James finished third overall, eventually losing out to rugby player Kyran Bracken.

What with ice skating and singing, it looks like this has been enough to stop him calling up the Blue boys and asking for a reunion.

"I wouldn't rejoin the band for all the money in the world," he said.

"The idea of going back on stage and singing All Rise (the group's debut single) makes me feel ill. One of the others wants us to regroup because he's skint."

James has also worked as a television presenter since Blue disbanded, fronting programmes such as The National Lottery, GMTV's Entertainment Today and City Hospital.
